Thyroid Symptoms


Thyroid symptoms include fatigue, weight gain, low motivation, ambition, heat and/or cold intolerance, migraines, head aches, dry skin, dry hair, irritability, anxiety and panic attacks, fluid retention, depression, hair loss, decreased memory, decreased concentration, unhealthy nails, brittle nails, constipation, low sex drive, irritable bowel syndrome, insomnia, hives, allergies, slow healing, asthma, acne, or carpal and tunnel syndrome.
If these symptoms are found they can be thyroid symptoms in a person. If one has experienced female problems including tumors, fibroids, ovarian cysts, cyclic seizures, endometriosis, cramps, PMS a(dysmenorrhea), amenorrhea, female cancers, spontaneous abortion, dry vagina and infertility), weight problems like usually high, sometimes low) they can be thyroid symptoms.

Thyroid symptoms also include gallbladder disease for example six times higher in women with excess estrogen or on birth control pills or ERT), heart diseases, any of the cancer, colon problems, attention deficit disorder (ADD), low blood sugar, adrenal exhaustion from excess secretion of adrenaline, and osteoporosis (from excess estrogen leading to excess adrenaline and then to excess cortisol), they can be again thyroid symptoms.

One may ask that why is it important to take notice of your symptoms in the first place? It is because if you are not diagnosed for the thyroid disease and start a course of proper treatment it would mean that, you are setting yourself up for many problems down the road.  Therefore it is very important to keep an eye on any of thyroid symptoms. The longer one would leave it untreated, the difficult it is to work on the treatment. Like so many other disease it is necessary to have know-how about the thyroid symptoms as it always helps the person discover it on time. This not only helps you fall badly prey to the disease but also keeps you away from other stresses that are generated with the discovery of any other health problem.
